My Story
Empathy was my first design skill.
My journey started with lifelong curiosity about people - how they think, feel and interact with the world around them.
While studying anthropology gave me a great base, I kept wishing for something more creative.
When I discovered UX design, it felt like the perfect way to blend research, empathy and creativity. From that moment, I knew this was my calling.
The more I dive into UX, the more it becomes part of who I am. And I love that!
Anthropology taught me to understand people. UX taught me to design for them.
I've always loved listening to people's stories. Now I turn them into digital experiences.
I treat every project like fieldwork: I observe, listen, take notes. Then I combine these insights into a thoughtful design.
Spoiler alert: if you ever see me without a notebook, something's probably wrong!

These days, I'm the happiest when researching, prototyping and quietly geeking out over how a small design change can make someone's day easier.
When I'm not designing, you'll probably find me cooking, playing puzzle games or learning Norwegian over a good cup of coffee.
Oh, and the red hat? Straight out of the Six Thinking Hats playbook, always ready for good ideas (or dramatic brainstorms) in style!

Lysual combines the Norwegian word lys (meaning light) and visual. For me, it's about design that brings a bit more brightness and clarity into everyday experiences.
